I have a 3080 and a ollllld processor (7700k). It's running Starfield swell, lowest is 40 FPS in the city. Playing at 1440p.

Honestly, I'm not interested in Starfield. It seemed a bit meh from the get go.

All the lower then expected review scores, lack of optimization and the fact it isn't verified on Steam Deck? Its a no from me lol.

Optimise for which PC though? There's only so much you can optimise for general PCs.

I can get it to run just fine, it just looks like a game from the 1990s if only the colors brown, more brown and poop brown were used. I'm sure it's a great game but since the graphics make me throw up 20 mins in and there are no accessibility options I will never get to play it.

In think the issues people are having is is 4K and above 1080p.

Yet again i’m on ultra with 3060 ti but 1080p and using DLSS performance mod getting about 90 fps and 45 in cities

I really only play on 1080p. Without a DLSS mod even with a 4060ti i only get about 30 FPS using optimized settings in the larger cities.

I imagine its only worse at larger resolutions. their FSR implementation is definately a core cause of the issue, especially for Nvidia cards.
