You mean Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho?
I think of Vanessa playing the piano.
What does terry crews have to do with this song?
Thanks for this. This was one of a few videos I was shown by an old friend a few days before gastric cancer took him... it was the last day where he was fully cognizant.
Nice to know this is a positive memory despite.
I think of the meme of somebody driving a piano through hordes of pedestrians to this song in GTA
LOL, please tell me there's a "let's play" of that
I thought this was a fake song they made up for the movie for years before I heard the song playing in real life.
I remember watching the movie for the first time and thinking, "No, this song is way over the top and too much of a satire". Man, was I wrong!
I'd have probably thought the same thing except a group of girls played/sang it during the high school talent show, so I already knew it was a real song.
FWIW, they did a kickass cover of it.
He was just so into it. C'mon
I always think of Critical Role.
Making my way...
From the top of this shitty mountain
To the bottom of this goddamn bay
First time I heard it was in the Disney Channel original movie You Wish!
The song was an instant classic IMO. Did not need Terry Crews' help, though I am glad he also enjoys it.
OMG I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS ONE!
I hate how Neil's really good works get copyright struck all the time. It was so nice to see Alanis back on YouTube.
First thing I thought of, thank you
Showerthoughts
A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted clever little truths, hidden in daily life.
Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts:
- Both “200” and “160” are 2 minutes in microwave math
- When you’re a kid, you don’t realize you’re also watching your mom and dad grow up.
- More dreams have been destroyed by alarm clocks than anything else
Rules
- All posts must be showerthoughts
- The entire showerthought must be in the title
- No politics
- If your topic is in a grey area, please phrase it to emphasize the fascinating aspects, not the dramatic aspects. You can do this by avoiding overly politicized terms such as "capitalism" and "communism". If you must make comparisons, you can say something is different without saying something is better/worse.
- A good place for politics is c/politicaldiscussion
- Posts must be original/unique
- Adhere to Lemmy's Code of Conduct and the TOS
If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.
Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report, the message goes away and you never worry about it.
