...duke nukem forever was in development for about fourteen years...

...squadron 42 is tracking to match that if it releases next year; star citizen stands poised to inherit the protracted-development crown in short order...

I'm remembering the first game with blood-tinted glasses, so this second one is likely to disappoint due to my unrealistic expectations for it.

It's a little surprising they never did a Definitive Edition remaster of Bloodlines 1.

They did double its base price though. So there might be a remaster planned at least, if it isn't just a cash grab.
