I mean, they're right. Threats of violence are counterproductive.
Actual violence, however, has its place.
But, if the fight was "just" for rights, I might agree anyway. The problem is that it's a fight fur the right to exist, to actually live.
Counterpoint, no peaceful protest ever accomplished anything without the threat, overt or implied, of harm to rich people's money.
Violence is a terrible tool, but an incredibly effective motivator. Knowing when to wield it is key. How the current climate for human rights is starting to lean, it may be necessary to take out of the toolbox and polish up.
