Does anyone know why blahaj.zone (sharkey) keeps giving error 504? It gave me one yesterday then sorted it and I'm getting another one now? Considering moving to transfem.social because this is a bit silly.
I'm paraphrasing Kaity here, but we believe a lot of the performance issue we're experiencing on the Sharkey instance are related to latency on disk read and writes to the network storage we're using. Ultimately, we have a bare metal box ready to run it on, that will give it low latency storage, but migrating to that is a body of work that we haven't had a chance to do yet.
No idea. Sometimes a have a glance on my TL. Sometimes i have the "Sorry an error occured XoX" Sometimes its 504 Sometimes its a CSS thing, Sometimes a JSON thing. I did this to me the whole day its really annoying, and it wouldn't be the first time it does this to me at least.
