If you're wondering like I was:

King - Mario and Bowser

Queen - Luigi and Bowser Jr.

Bishops - Peach/Daisy and Magikoopas

Knights - Yoshis and Birdos

Rooks - Toads and Goombas

Pawns - Coins and Koopa Shells

I feel like toads and goombas should have been pawns. Thwomp is the perfect rook. I can't think of a suitable replacement for the Mushroom Kingdom's rook other than stylizing it like Peach's castle.

Chain Chomp are neutral, Peach has a pet Chain Chomp in MK3.

Peach guest staring in Mortal Kombat 3 was one of the most wild crossovers. The fatality with that chain chomp was gruesome.
