Anonymous smear campaign, which blames Christine Jorgensen for the existence of transgender people.

We are all apparently liars who cannot be trusted when we say that our medical transitions make us happy. The fact that many of us struggle with employment and mental illness is laid at the feet of our transness, not the fact that we experience discrimination or mistreatment.

They want conversion therapy for kids - but don’t think they’ll stop with kids.

Small detail, those are pdf metadata tags, not EXIF metadata.

EXIF is based off the Tiff format and is one of three ways to store metadata in a jpeg file. XMP looks pretty similar to PDF metadata tags, but the tags shown mention PDF.

So all psychosocial conditions need to show up on MRI? Does OCD show up physically? Do we need blood tests for autism?

Incorrect, the vast majority who social transition persist.

Something very concerning I’m seeing as I’m trying to find articles I know I’ve read before - a lot of very recent articles have been published with very strange and questionable methodologies and results. I am very concerned that things might be being removed from places such as PubMed.

The duck duck go and Google results are giving me a panic attack. I have used many different papers to make arguments over the years - this is not what the search results used to look like.

We need to start downloading and preserving and mirroring as much as we can. Trans medical textbooks - if someone can organize places to upload I have some good collections.

I’ve also thought about copying things to CD-ROM/DVDs for campaigns. I don’t think they can clamp down on DIY estradiol but testosterone is already controlled.

Why are conservative fascists obsessed with everyone’s genitalia?

They’re also the largest consumers of trans porn.

Contributors represent a wide range of political viewpoints

Like "right", "far right", "extremist right", and finally "evangelical fundamentalist"?

I wish we could, but it’s going to be used like a cudgel. See how they’ve been using the Cass report in the UK.

Sorry, I was hallucinating that we weren't in bizzaroland for a moment.

Can I have some of whatever brought on those hallucinations? For a friend
