I got around to finishing Interior Chinatown (hulu) and was disappointed. I don't want to spoil it for others, but I think I can safely complain that it wrapped things up in an unsatisfying manner.

I always watch 'Elsbeth' because my mother watches it.

I stumbled onto The CW's 'Good Cop/Bad Cop' last week and watched all the current episodes this week because it seems exactly like the thing my mom will enjoy: a mix somewhere between the setting and townie bonding of 'Resident Alien' (with no Alien or other-worldly aspects) and the silly sleuthing of 'Elsbeth' (without the expensive sets and celebrities).

I just finished Lost for the first time, and now I'm frantically looking to answers on things that where left untold. Turns out, if you follow carefully all the episodes and the clues, you get all the answers you are going to get, and the rest is intentionally left to speculation. Which is so good and so bad at the same time

I disliked the hatebase on that show. Leaving things to the imagination is part of the art of fiction in general. Those who want every question answered, every plot hole filled, have no suspension of disbelief. I just wished there were more seasons.

I'm still making my way through the chronological order of Star Trek. I'm halfway through season 4 (last season) of Star Trek: Enterprise. I've been enjoying it.

ST:E used to be the dark horse of the series funnily enough (it's probably the newer series' now). It was never as bad as people said, especially the later seasons.

Yeah, I had read a few comments a while ago from people that didn't seem to like ST:E. I've done my best to be the judge of it myself. Like any show really, the first season tends to be the season where they try to figure out how to run the show. Season 1 was good collectively in my book. Just did a count of my ratings of each episode from it and counted ten episodes that I rated 8 or higher. Meaning that 38% of the episodes stood out to me. Not bad at all for a first season in my book.

(You got me interested in figuring out what my mean ratings were per season. Season 1 - 7.26 mean, Season 2 - 7.72 mean, and Season 3 - 7.95 mean.)

Mo is awesome.

You'd probably also like Ramy on Hulu. It's a similar, but slightly more serious and experimental show. Mo plays one of Ramy's best friends in it.

Also, the fun and quirky It's Bruno! on Netflix is written, directed, and starting the director of Mo. It's about his relationship with his real life dog in NYC.

I finished The Last Of Us Part 1 recently so naturally watched the TV show. Felt like it was absolutely fantastic until like, the last 3-2 episodes where pacing dropped off the cliff (especially the last 2 episodes). Feels like they just needed a couple extra to really conclude it properly.

Still a strong 8/10 series though, pretty top notch other than the end and I'm not entirely convinced non-game players would notice the pacing issues as much.

I tried SweetPea but couldn’t get into it and dropped it. Currently trying Madmen but not sure what to think of the show, I’m on the 3rd episode.

Debating whether to drop Madmen and start with The Jackal (with the guy from Fantastic Beast).
