This would all be hilarious if it didn’t directly affect the lives of so many innocent non-idiots
Even with the now 45% tariff, it’s still cheaper to buy from China than America. And now it has an edge over Mexico too. I’m an international buyer for the automotive business. It’s a mess every day now.
Tariffs are a way to punish ones own people for doing something without actually making that something illegal. In this case that tool, which is already a bad idea, is being wildly abused with zero checks.
