Did someone say ducks? (lemmy.blahaj.zone)
submitted 2 weeks ago by ada to c/photography@lemmy.ml

Mods are asleep, post ducks!

But to keep it on topic, this is a female Rosy-billed Pochard in Buenos Aires. Taken with a Canon R50, which I used for a brief moment before returning to Olympus/OM systems

An OM-1 MkII. My main lenses are the 12-100 F4 and the 300mm F4

The 12 to 100 is a very good lens can confirm. How are you finding the om1 mark 2 I’ve got the mark 1 and I’m thinking of upgrading tbh. Do you mainly do ducks then?

I do a lot of bird photos (including ducks). Mostly waterbirds, but really, anything with feathers :)

The OM-1 MkII is easily the best birding camera I've owned. I never used the MkI though, so I don't know how it compares.
