I was skeptical of the Russian asset claims during the first Trump presidency, but after everything he's done this time around, it really seems like there's no other possibility.

Yep. Now the main question is what will non-fascist Americans do about it?

Just like every dictator before him, Trump is hellbent on agitation until violence starts, so that he can declare martial law and use it to implement authoritarianism, murder his opposition, etc. If all else fails he'll just false flag it and achieve the end result "one way or the other".

The thing is though, Trump does not control the military. He can replace generals and senior leadership, but half the military will not easily murder civilians, or invade an ally at the order of a foreign agent, so that's when civil war is most likely.

Pretty sure the UK and France already thought of that.

The world will respect us again, because we won't be a world power or have any say in world goverment.

On the other hand, the US will be a de facto vassal state to Russia, so there's that.

on top of that the US has shown that it can never be a reliable partner. why would any country in the world try to build lasting alliances with the usa if they have to expect a knife to their back every four years or so?
