Yeah.. Your life sucks when you have a job and your life sucks when you don't have a job.
No summer vacations when you work...barely any vacations at all when you work. Your life basically turns into Groundhog Day unless youre wealthy.

I haven't had to deal with "back to school" in close to twenty years and I still get anxiety every year when I start seeing those ads.
As a North American this is how I believe all European children are raised.
My kid has been back to school for two weeks now.
That is horrible.
How old are lemmy users? I thought I left these memes behind at reddit.

I mean school applies to college aswell right? I assume lemmy user base is on average older than reddit but I'm definitely reaching there
It already started in colorado about a week ago
Where i live the schools are on break between mid to late june. And starts again in mid august
