@marta @cyberpunk_irl same here - I have a bunch of "smart toys" around the home, but I'm very conscious about what's actually online, and I try and use as much tech that *doesn't* phone home to some server in who-knows-where
definitely engineee. every new tech that comes out all i can think is "great, how will they weaponize this against us this time"
definitely the engineer side. every time a new technology comes out i go "ugh, how are they going to weaponize this against us this time".
