People were desperate and the Democrats made damned sure they felt voiceless, so they threw their lot in with the devil in the hopes that some babies in Gaza would live to see their next birthday. Nobody is gleeful, as far as I've seen. Yeah everyone who told people that this is what was going to happen gets to say "I told you so" but they aren't happy, they're just pissed off in multiple directions now.

Sadly I've seen several comments in other threads that I would regard as gleeful/mean-spirited, and over in the bad place they're posting about voters from Dearborn on r/leopardsAteMyFace.
I think if people want to have words with the independents/third party contrarian crowd who couldn't hold their nose and do the right thing that's one thing. But going after people from the Palestinian/Levantine/Arab community who acted out of hopelessness is both counter-productive and profoundly lacking in empathy
