My kids are playing and I help read occasional dialogue or troubleshoot their strategy. I'm trying to stay real hands off. The share a character. It is cool.

Ive played to like year 20+ and some of the stuff they try is weird but works. For perspective, they have no real understanding of money and the farm is as wild as ever lol. I'm trying to drop hints of how cool a backpack would be
Lost motivation to play it, and everything else really.
Tastes and priorities change, and sometimes that means a hobby you enjoyed for a long time may no longer be fun. It's okay to let go of a hobby you no longer enjoy. It's a good chance to try some new things and maybe find a new hobby.

After binging around new year I kinda lost time to play as real life did some catch up with me, but things are still going well when i get the opportunity to play. Currently I'm year 2 Summer and I just married Alex, finished the community center, am planing to go to ginger island soon and I'm spending a lot of time gifting everyone lots of gifts. Gift giving is an interesting gameplay loop that I kinda never did so far and I'm amazed how much time I'm spending with just running around and gifting people, like it feels stupid and meaningless because it uses so much time and at the same time it's super cool and funny and I genuinely love all the little acts of kindness and reactions and figuring out (well going to the wiki) who loves/likes what. Also can't wait for grandpa evaluation as I want that statue of perfection because I just HATE skull cavern. Damn writing this really gave me the mood to play again here is to hoping I can squeeze that one in the next couple of days :3
Just curious, when looking at The changes in the new update. I saw something about a tree and some new things added with that. I suspect that it's the tree in the forest between your farm and the traveling merchant spot.
Does anybody know what it takes to trigger those events? I'm not looking for any spoilers on what's inside, But I'd like to check it out, If I'm at that point in this playthrough.
Or if I'm barking up the wrong tree, (😂) let me know.
Played a little with sibling last night. They wanted to add an onsen to the farm, but it requires a manual download so I'm putting that off because I forget how.
Otherwise it was fun. I should look through more mods All the mods!
