My question is why doesn't the PeetTube logo show up at all? If you turn safe search on, or change any of the letters to capitals ("peertube logO") it's nothing but the logo.
its also region dependent! my region shows the peertube logo, but the english speaking regions (and also catalonia for some reason???) show nothing but porn

Also if you mess the colour filters, you still only get porn but different porn??? And on some if you select one colour, select another and go back there'll be more results, still only porn???

bluesky is the liberal cousin in a family of commies, also they actually have an active community with it's own vibe.
Bluesky isn't much better.
You just need to learn to curate your feed.
YouTube may be a mental illness, but it's my preferred mental illness.
If there is one irreplaceable content network, it's youtube. The amount of quality shit you can watch there for free is insane.

Bluesky is just going to turn into twitter in a few years. How does no one see the issue with one company owning a platform?!
Maybe bluesky might take a bit longer, but I don't see how threads is any better than twitter.

Honestly, threads was only popular because of it being fused with instagram, so you would already have an audience and because it was the simplest alternative at the time.
You need to have a couple of explicitly anticapitalist thoughts to see the issue with it. So yeah, most won't see the issue with it.
People aren't thinking that critically. Maybe they need to experience the cycle a couple more times.

Unpopular opinion: Bluesky is annoying because if I say anything about queer issues (especially trans ones) I get followed by a bunch of alt-righters and the occasional dude with a kiwifarms avatar or something weird like "we will find you" in their bio. Yeah they're just bots and they're easy enough to block but it's tedious. It's weird how many people nagged me to join and no one even mentioned that.

I miss the days of filling up my RSS feed from different websites. I hate how consolidated the internet became.
I mean, rss is really only dead on the consumer side, every website still seems to have it. Twitter is the only big one that got rid of it.
