Having done no research whatsoever and with nothing but hearsay to base this opinion on, I'd choose freezing to death. Burning to death sounds like constant agony because you'll be on fire (that hurts) until something in your body gives in, you pass out and die. Freezing to death doesn't sound pleasant either, but the way it's depicted in films etc., you'll be a shivering mess until your body suddenly feels very warm and you fall asleep. Being a shivering mess is probably less painful than being on fire, and the final moments might be slightly more pleasant, too.

Fire is fast, and I think you usually die of smoke inhalation first Freezing to death outside of being in water would be slow.

Yeah but honestly freezing to death is a lot less agonizing. The post didn't say dying of smoke inhalation, it specified burning and let me tell you, after you hit a certain point of exposure it no longer registers as cold, you just get kind of disconnected from everything. Wouldn't be a bad way to go, especially compared to burning

True, I didn't consider the time it takes to die. From a quick search, if your body's core temperature gets low enough fast enough, you'll pass out relatively quickly, but unless your clothes are wet and you're in an extremely cold environment (like, Siberian winter cold), it'll still take a while. Now I don't know which one I should pick :c

That was a very interesting watch, especially the part about that person that was resuscitated after freezing "to death."
