Anyone else seen Wolf's rain?
I saw bits and parts when it aired on Toonami many years ago. Haven't really gone back to rewatch it. ┐( ´ д ` )┌
You need to watch it whole, including the three OVA chapters which conclude the story. It's such a beautiful show.
I’ve seen it and I have the show on DVD, but it’s been quite some time since I watched it last. It’s beautiful for sure (although they draw the wolves as humans way too often) and I’ve been thinking of giving it another watch sometime soon
Ha! I completely agree with the wolves as humans part. Definitely could be furrier, but still a good show, though.
This show was my introduction to anime. It was weird and sad and wonderful and I didn't quite understand what happened at the end, but I came away knowing I had seen something special. I should rewatch it sometime as well; it's been quite a few years. I hadn't even accepted that I was a furry yet.
I feel like the ending is up for personal interpretation. I felt it was largely very symbolic in many ways. c:
