They are trying to force 2fa for stalking so I'm about to delete my account. I'm a resource mostly for a few reverse engineered hardware schematics and electronics projects. Last I checked I'm the primary English doc source for some AliEx class hardware. I don't really care enough to make a ton of effort right now. I'm certainly not in a position to pay to host or move. Is there anywhere that just works to transfer stuff with a proton email and no collector, github, com stalkerware nonsense, or verify you're identity to better market you to advertising and freedom of information manipulation trolls?

No, they are forcing it because it limits supply chain attacks.

You can use any otop you want. Keypassxc has an inbuilt otop generator so you don't need a mobile app.

Codeberg, powered by Forgejo. They will also support federation with ActivityPub someday using the ForgeFed extension. So you can just self host Forgejo.

I'm also not sure what you mean by "using 2fa to stalk"

If they're talking TOTP as in IETF RFC 6238, they're good as there isn't really an attack surface for tracking.

If you're talking SMS or E-Mail, sure.

Codeberg is free for free projects:

Codeberg is a non-profit, community-led effort that provides Git hosting and other services for free and open source projects.

I use it for the tenfingers project and it works great.

Self-hosted Gitea or Forgejo. It's pretty easy to host, and if you've got a reliable Internet connection and an always on computer, you can host it from home without too much effort.
