Who knows when “the right time” is for this type of departure? Maybe it’s been in the works for months and going now gives us the chance to prepare well for the summer transfer window? Better than him taking off at the end of the season, probably. Still a bit disappointing that he’s left before the job is done. Money talks but I’m sure he wasn’t eating cup noodle and beans.

Not gonna lie, not even giving us any transition feels a bit shit from Edu. I know he's a legend and all that but he should be respecting us more than that, even if he's getting a shit load of money from the Greek oligarch.
