Yes, really. I even saw an earlier news article showing that the referendum was expected to fail!

Thank goodness that they made it, even after all the Russian disinformation and interference. Democracy won again today.

Many Russians are good people who, after a long history of brutal oppression, have been brainwashed. Blaming all of them just pushes those on the fence into the arms of the Kremlin

Earliest possible entry is likely 2030, so, given the history of EU enlargement, the membership isn't save from eurosceptic governments being elected.
