Atm, you can add anyone as mod to a community without permission. This is bad because you could add someone as mod to a questionable community to make them look bad

Not 100% ,but iirc this is what actually happened to Spez (re: r/jailbait) back in the day, and it's followed him ever since. Plenty of other reasons to hate the guy I'm sure, but not that.

True. Maybe shouldnt be a case of just "ur a mod now".

They still have to make at least one post or comment, though, right?
