No, transmission-cli

[-] lemmydividebyzero@reddthat.com 5 points 4 months ago

Lube should do it...

[-] squid_slime@lemm.ee 20 points 4 months ago

I'd mix some egg in too just for extra fanciness

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 6 points 4 months ago

Stirred or just pour them on top?

[-] owenfromcanada@lemmy.world 17 points 4 months ago

Soy sauce, maybe some diced vegetables

Any chicken? My laptop loves chicken and I would rather not cut it out of his diet, he gets moody.

[-] Johnmannesca@lemmy.world 14 points 4 months ago

No Mac is complete without cheese, maybe a nice melter like gruyere?

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 5 points 4 months ago

Yes, my thoughts as well.

[-] lengau@midwest.social 9 points 4 months ago

Next time use arborio rice. It sticks together nicely and creates a protective layer for your keyboard.

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago
[-] lengau@midwest.social 3 points 4 months ago

Better to put thin slices of raw fish on it.

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago

White wine and lemon should go nicely with that.

[-] lengau@midwest.social 3 points 4 months ago

I generally use avocado and horseradish that I dye green for some reason.

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 months ago

Add some bananas and cinnamon 🀀.

[-] NastyNative@mander.xyz 8 points 4 months ago

Grind the rice to a fine dust.. you wont need those packets.

[-] Linsensuppe@feddit.org 8 points 4 months ago
[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 7 points 4 months ago

I was told this was appropriate.

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 8 points 4 months ago

Pro tip - that unibody macbook has one of the best laptop keyboards out there. You can grab one for like thirty bucks.

[-] WagnasT@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago
[-] credo@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago

Dunk your computer in water first, then the rice will have more effect.

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

How do I know when to stop ricing?

[-] ALilOff@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago

Close it down as hard as you can to create a seal. You’re trying to just get moisture out of the laptop not the air.

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

So ricing works better with air, got it πŸ‘.

[-] Peter_Arbeitslos@feddit.org 6 points 4 months ago

Tastes better with sauce. I prefer Sambal Olek or Tabasco, but Maggi is also fine if you're that kind of person.

[-] foster@lemmy.fosterhangdaan.com 6 points 4 months ago
[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago

They're in the silica packages, they're not fans of ricing... or so I was told.

[-] brrt@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

You just have to Nix it all together.

[-] cygnus@lemmy.ca 5 points 4 months ago

Not visible: the bottom of the case bulging out because the battery is inflating like a balloon

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

I was told that is a part of the ricing process.

[-] RobotToaster@mander.xyz 5 points 4 months ago
[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

I was thinking of adding chicken...

[-] 299792458ms@lemmy.zip 5 points 4 months ago

You forgot to soak the rice first wash it a few times, put it into the caldero, add some water till 1 inch above the level of the rice. Can use your thumb to measure that. Then put into the stove use your laptop as cap for the caldero wait for 30 minutes and your done you still have broken laptop and a rice ready to serve.

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

The heat might do a reflow job... you never know...

[-] Ma10gan@slrpnk.net 4 points 4 months ago
[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago

Ah, I know of it, so tasty 🀀.

[-] BlueChinchompa@lemm.ee 4 points 4 months ago

nice its a pretty simple one though

[-] 0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago

Just getting into it...

[-] Stewbs@lemmy.world 2 points 4 months ago

Now add some Sriracha for extra customization

[-] Mwa@lemm.ee 2 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Soak it in wager and roil the rice with the laptop to make it even more riced
