That's like saying "I already won once gambling, why wouldn't I do it again". Stupid.
If winning a debate is a gamble, maybe your position isn't strong enough. If he's confident about having won this last debate he shouldn't be afraid of doing it again
How to tell who debate
It seems like if you think you won, why would you want to do a second debate?
Debates = Air time = more eyes on you = more voter engagement = better odds of winning the election (if you think you benefit from more voter engagement)
Because you won. And want to do it again. Same reason Trump demanded another debate after the one against Biden.
