Donald Trump got a fact-check live on air just minutes into the presidential debate on Thursday.

Speaking on abortion, Trump spread lies for several minutes about reproductive care. The former president claimed that the governor of West Virginia allowed doctors to terminate a pregnancy not only after viability but after the baby was born.

In response to Trump’s claims, the ABC News  anchor Linsey Davis gave him an embarrassing live correction.

“There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it is born,” she said, before quickly pivoting to Kamala Harris.

Can we still abort Trump if he visits West Virginia? He is just a big baby after all.

Something went amiss with the last abortion attempt.

It wasn't particularly embarrassing because he talked over the correction. Other fact checks were better done but they dropped the ball on that one.

It's because it was from Davis. He interrupted her constantly, including times when she was about to tell him it was his turn to talk. He didn't interrupt Muir almost at all.

I'll leave the reason why he interrupted one and not the other as an exercise for the reader.

When you're a star, they let you do it.

If Harris made such a serious departure from reality as to claim that you’re allowed to murder live children it would be front page news for 6 months and be talked about for decades.

You're forgetting the part where the cult doesn't care, and the media move onto the next distraction.

"The moderators were so unfair! It was a 3 vs 1 fight for Trump! Lying Kamila needs to stop lying!" -literally his entire base right now
