Ad absurdum, this could be saying "there's no need use 1w bulbs instead of 75w bulbs because the electricity is coming from a low carbon fuel instead of a high carbon fuel", which doesn't make sense because the two measurements are in different aspects. The source of your electricity is a completely different consideration from how much electricity your home uses.
