I'm on a friends plan. If I wasn't I'd just download whatever I want to watch. It's pretty easy to download from YT.

There's no hoops. Just install a 3rd party player with adblock enabled and that's it.

I don’t bother paying for it. I use it quite a lot and I prefer paying for a service with my hard earned money than with my privacy. Also, no ads.

Same. It’s like $5 for 6 months if you use a VPN at checkout. At that price point, why not.

Use Freetube or NewPipe or Invidious. All of which let you watch YouTube videos ad free, and they're FREE. Have some commen sense PLEASE

I actually deleted the app and just started using it way less. If I use it’s it’s for a podcast, and through a mobile browser or a third party app.
