I can agree with the text while being against the authoritarians pictured.
I just hope people don't think that everyone complaining about US imperialism is somehow fine with Russian or Chinese actions of the same hue.
The US as least has a flawed democracy.
It's why I went back to reddit. I check in here occasionally to check. I can handle the reddit hive if I limit where and how I participate. But the hardcore political ideologies sprinkled everywhere in lemmy ruin even a limited browsing experience for me.

Like, I don't like these weird trollish opinions; but I still want to see people who disagree with me from time to time for perspective. I mean, how else can I feel superior to someone if I filter out all the idiots? 🤷🏻♂️
Has anyone ever thought that if you combined Stalin and Xi Jinping, it would probably look a lot like Kim Jong Un? Like, if you fed the two of them into a 'What would our baby look like' generator, I feel like it would be real close.
I was in discussion (if you can even call it that) with someone and when he spoke about "Occupied Korea" i knew there was no point what so ever to continue.
There's no laddar long enough in the world to climb out of that hole.
