We should put this on there too:
Whats this about?
Canvas is lemmy's r/place. You can draw a pixel every minute and people work together to draw stuff. This post is about drawing the Australian flag when it starts.
Sounds cool, How'd it turn out
It hasn't started yet, but this was last years result.
Was last year's goal to also draw the Australian flag, or something else?
It was, But it was way bigger last year. This year it is smaller. Look bottom left at last years.
There's someone (not gonna post their name) trying very hard to mess up the union jack part of the flag. Anyone with some time to help and fix it up as they go. Where to find the UK people... maybe they can help too?
Who? I see no damage.
Myself and firewire have been fixing the pixels as they've been placed. The guy stopped after about 90 mins. Although he just placed 6 pixels about 5 mins ago, which I immediately fixed up again.
They're at it again...
I support the void.
Too many attacking now. Can't keep them off. Sorry I tried. :-(
Not sure who was filling in the navy blue with me all day, but it was a pleasure! Thanks for the help. But time for bed now.
You can lookup the "painter" for each pixel with Shift + Left-Click
@eatham@aussie.zone is there some sort of automated script I can run with the template?
That would be against the rules
All good. Spent 8 hours doing it all by hand!
People now attacking the flag in the last few hours before the end. Please come help clean up if anyone's available.
