After I've been browsing for a while, I would like to be able to remove threads that I've already viewed from my feed because when Jerboa auto updates, it always sends me toward the top of my feed and then I have to scroll through a whole bunch of stuff again that I've already seen.

There should be a checkbox in your user settings for that. Side bar > Settings > [username] Settings > "Show Read Posts"

From the app's Home page:

  • Tap the 3-bars hamburger icon at top left corner.
  • Tap on Settings (currently that's immediately below "Inbox")
  • Tap on [your account name] settings (currently it's immediately below "Look and feel")
  • Scroll down the page to the checkboxes, and uncheck "Show Read Posts"
  • Remember to scroll down to the page bottom to Save Settings (!)

Pretty sure you can it enable it in your profile settings, it's called something along the lines of "hide read posts"

Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
