So apparently the Blahaj.zone Sharkey server is down. @ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone

I hope the Sharkey instance isn't being shuttered like how mint.lgbt shuttered their Fediverse instance.

They went down again last night. It always seems to happen when we're asleep, which makes it take longer to get resolved.

In any case, we had a database issue last week. We fixed that, but then we ended up with a drive full of logs, which caused it all to go down again last night.

its seems lemmy.blahaj.zone is hosted in Finland, why is that?

We're (mostly) hosted with Hetzner, though our images are hosted elsewhere
