quit everything this last year or so.... should have quit my life first instead. it's all so much worse now
Just look at it this way: You can always start doing drugs again, but you can't start life again if you quit it.
That's not really helpful, as someone who abuses alcohol. I want my life to end, even if it's just for the few moments of bliss I get from being drunk. It's ime more helpful to talk about what kind of therapy has helped, coping skills, etc. Most of us wouldn't be getting high or drunk if we actually liked life sober...
