There surely are some decisions that on the ground developers can just make without running them by management but as a general policy by Microsoft towards all of its gaming studios to support Steam Deck: no.
Thank you. Disappointing but not unexpected. Maybe valve or team ninja will come in with some fixes down the road.
It works out of the box on my Linux PC with AMD CPU and GPU, and has pretty great dynamic resolution, so it probably works great on the deck.
What cpu and you do you have? Are you getting decent frame rates?
I have a 5800X3D and RX7900XTX and I play at 1440p on high settings. Glancing at Mangohud, I haven't seen a dip below 70fps, and usually hover around 85-95.

I'm personally not, but I know it's the #1 game on Deck right now, with over 500k people playing it just on the deck. So, I'd say it's doing fine.
