IBM open-sources its Granite AI models - and they mean business
(www.zdnet.com)
business is their middle name.
(☞゚ヮ゚)☞
and corporate opensource is dead whispers dont sign CLAs
Is there a tutorial somewhere that shows how a noobie could learn to use this to generate python code?
This particular model isn't on there yet but ollama is pretty user friendly if you have a bit of experience using a command line interface.
Lmstudio has a better UI but is quite a bit slower.
Thanks, I'll check it out!
The Huggingface page has examples of how to use it: https://huggingface.co/ibm-granite/granite-8b-code-instruct
