First of all, I spent years disabled and would still qualify for disability if I didn't take my medication.
Secondly, I've never voted Republican in my life.
Believe it or not, you can feel protective of something you love without being a Republican.
Your ableism is noted. Interesting how certain people think bigotry is acceptable when it comes to disabled people.
