Joe Biden has moved to correct a “great injustice” by pardoning thousands of US veterans convicted over six decades under a military law that banned gay sex.

The presidential proclamation, which comes during Pride month and an election year, allows LGBTQ+ service members convicted of crimes based solely on their sexual orientation to apply for a certificate of pardon that will help them receive withheld benefits.

It grants clemency to service members convicted under Uniform Code of Military Justice article 125 – which criminalised sodomy, including between consenting adults – between 1951 and 2013, when it was rewritten by Congress.

That includes victims of the 1950s “lavender scare”, a witch-hunt in which many LGBTQ+ people employed by the federal government were viewed as security risks amid fears their sexual orientation made them vulnerable to blackmail. Thousands were investigated and fired or denied employment.

No. The problem here is that you’re refusing to separate my point for the point you’re wanting to argue.

I’m saying there are SOME bad actors here. SOME people are here in bad faith to propagandize the far left’s agenda into a push to not vote against Trump. And it’s not helped by the fact that you then try and weapon use my words into some all out attack on anyone that disagrees.

Dude… this is an extremely old and very tired attempt to move the goalposts. And it’s not going to work.

And it’s made an even bigger problem by people like you that like you that also like to build the “some means all!” straw man like you are here-for the purpose of shutting on the entire narrative in order to defuse the point via distraction.

This isn’t going to work anymore.

The far left's... anti-genocide agenda?

Dude… this is an extremely old and very tired attempt to move the goalposts.

Its too hard to score goals when the goalpost marker is "Be against genocide". Better move it to "Be against Republicans advocating genocide".

This isn’t going to work anymore.

For once, you're right. Fascism as bipartisan politics is going to destroy the country.

Yes. The far lefts anti-genocide agenda. Not all agendas are bad you know. Wait… you know this, right?

EVERYONE here in good faith- is anti genocide. Hate to break it to you.

So again, you’re not making the argument you think yore making and you’re really only telling on yourself.

Keep digging deeper. Maybe the exit is down there somewhere.
