MODERATORS
Why is that? Proton runs perfectly fine on all major hardware excepting Apple Silicon and other ARM chips
When I look up Nivida and proton I see nothing but how it's incompatible
Nvidia has more issues on Linux for sure, but its not a guerented death sentence. I would try it out and see if you like it. I daily drive and game on fedora on laptop with nvidia proprietary drivers.
They certainly have some issues but it's not nearly that bad. Note that you might also find many people who didn't install the proprietary drivers in which case you can expect just about nothing to work as it should.
