Yeah, I'm really hoping people do mass migrate from reddit to Lemmy. I was part of the Digg Exodus. Moving to something open source and decentralized would be huge in preventing another pointless exodus in the future whenever whatever reddit's corporate replacement decides to sell out.
I wholly agree. I've moved across a few platforms which made me post less and less each time. Can't wait to eventually host my own data and never move it all again.
