Waiting for **Boost for Lemmy **
I was waiting for Lemmy is Fun, but honestly, wefwef.app is just amazing, I don't really care anymore.
I'm working with wefwef till Boost comes out. I just fell in love with Boost for Reddit and it's similar enough, I'll switch over immediately. There's also Memmy which I would like to try, and it's supposed to be for Android as well, but I can't find any builds and haven't been able to figure out building it for myself

TL;DR: Android build is going to happen, waiting on google.
I expected the Play Store release to take some time, but Android really has no need to go through with that. Just a simple apk file is all you need. You don't even need to go through the whole TestFlight process on iOS so I kinda wish they had some beta releases by now.
Ya, this is quite annoying. Every other Lemmy app just releases the APK on GitHub.
It's obvious the Memmy developer is biased towards iOS, which is fine, but it really does feel like Android is an after thought, and in return, the app wont really be best on Android.
Which is okay, because we have a ton of amazing Android apps currently, with a ton more coming.
Same here, Love boost!
I'm on the same boat, wishing for Lemmy is Fun, but I'm happily using Liftoff. It's not RIF, but it's a very good Lemmy app on its own.
Yo thank you, I was using Connect but this is much better.
Same. Sync and Boost were my two main apps, and both are getting brought over! It's really great.
Connect is also really good right now.
won't happen sadly..boost dev already said he won't do anything for lemmy.
They changed their mind apparently: https://lemmy.world/c/boostforlemmy.
Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using an URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !boostforlemmy@lemmy.world
!boostforlemmy@lemmy.world
Edit: The bot reply is what I was looking for. On wefwef, it will only go to the post, comment or community if you link it like this
What?! Nice! Didn't even knew that!!!
That makes me so happy!
Same here. Can't wait to launch the rocket!
