It's hard to tell what they are. You make some good points but for some reason I still saw them as a face in that match. That's why the low blow surprised me. It'll be interesting to see what they do with this win, though. Are they actually going to move up the card? Challenge for the trios belts?

HoB vs DO? I wouldn't who to cheer for or what to do with my hands!

When it comes to hand placement my rule is simple: In a public space? Keep them above the waist! But when alone let 'em roam

And I'd like Dark Order's chances better if they had their own spooky witch.

If only Yuka had said yes and agreed to join them, we could have had witch vs genie!

Lol yeah, it was kind of a shades of Grey story but they also let their "friend" get stabbed with a screwdriver and did nothing soo firmly assholes in my book.

Shades of grey is a great way of putting it. It really does seem like DO is getting sick of their comedy rep and trying to become more serious. And if they have to low blow someone to start getting people's respect, then so be it (speaking from their pov).

Honestly, the more I think about it the more I like it.

I don't personally keep up with RoH but on RoH I think they lost Stu who got recruited by another stable called The Righteous(also a cult). So it's understandable why they're angry.

I've noticed alot of AEW stories do have nuance and callbacks, but not everyone cares about every wrestler the same which makes it hard to notice some of the smaller things.

The Wednesday commentary team also seem to focus a bit less on some of the emotions of the story. Excalibur is probably the most knowledgeable but I think he already has alot on his plate.
