If you ever get the chance to inspect one of van Eyck's altar pieces in real life, then go do it. The level of detail is astonishing. You can basically zoom in on a part of the meadow or the lamb's fell and it's like a painting on its own.

The ghent altar crystal rod is fucking crazy, haven't seen it in person but it's quite literally my favorite painting series.

What's not allowed: Digital art (anything made with Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, Blender, GIMP or other art programs) or AI art (anything made with Stable Diffusion, Midjourney or other models)
