At first I thought it was cool but now its clear lemmy will just be turned into reddit.
Reddit went downhill due to its investors demanding ad revenue. Do you see that being an issue here?
That is a very important factor, but there are also social and cultural factors unrelated to reddit's money-grabbing. This place won't just be good because it's nonprofit. Case study: Wolfballs. Cultural issues need to be identified too.
