I want more games like Mark of the Ninja, Hollow Knight, or the Armored Core series.

Games where there is always engagement without running around in a dead map for 5 minutes to a checkpoint.

That being said, super hyped for AC6 coming next month!

Funny you should say that. I've been playing Death Stranding and all I've been doing is walking around doing not much. I'm loving it though haha. I'm starting to realize that I value the atmosphere and story of a game much more than anything else.

Fair call. I've enjoyed my fair share of these games too. i.e. horizon, cp2077 (after the fixes), og assassin's creed. But for me they don't hold a candle to the games I've mentioned in the original post. They are pretty though.

Have you tried Dead Cells or Hades? Both are wildly popular and you will have constant action start to finish. They are rogue-likes/lites, so if your not into that, be warned. Hades does have a progressing story though which is amazing!

They're on my ever growing "to play" list

I dunno, I distinctly remember spending several hours in AC4A screaming "WHERE THE FUCK IS NOBLESSE OBLIGE HIDING?!"

10/10 game though.
