You are not acknowledging the actual argument I am making so excuse me for labouring the point, I don't know whether or not you understood what I am trying to say to you. Let me say it more plainly.
The exact argument you are making against "nazi" also applies to the word "fascist" which refers to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Fascist_Party . Both words originally referred to political parties, and both words now have additional meanings. One is not necessarily more correct than the other, and fascists are not going to accept either term, so there is no point in asking them for their opinion.
To address the point in your last comment a second time, it does not matter if you give them a simple out or not. The things we say do not matter to them. The things they say do not matter to them. It makes no sense whatsoever to worry about giving them an out, because we cannot force them "in" no matter what we say. They are never "in".
Fascism is a psychological defense mechanism. You cannot argue these people out of fascism. The only thing we can do about our loved ones who are falling to fascism is try to make them feel safe and secure again. Calling them out is largely counter-productive anyway, though often we must for the protection of others. They must be reached on an emotional level. There is no label or careful selection of words that will cause them to have sudden self-awareness.
