Is there a list of reddit equivalents to Lemmy yet? (lemmy.world)

I, like many of us, are still try to figure out everything about this new platform. Are new users welcome? Are we crashing this niche party? And is all the acclimation annoying? What are "instances"? Are there corresponding communities to reddit? I initially got into reddit as a form of therapy. You could post casually to get things off your chest, discuss random topics about everything, quip, and browse interesting stories. Hoping to find the same here, maybe in a better form, once it's understood.

New users are very welcome and people are happy about the increased activity. Asking questions isn't looked down upon, the fediverse can be confusing and I've seen a lot of helpful repsonses in all kinds of threads.
