Most likely it won't work as very few websites will work with XP's level of SSL security these days.
Firefox/mypal bundles its own SSL stack
major geeks looks like it hasn’t been touched since ‘05 so there is some hope for IE
I was going to suggest another antivirus from tucows but turns out that site has been dead for quite some time.
