Information is cached on servers in the fediverse through connections. You can't just make an empty server and harvest all of the data. Now if you unleash millions of accounts on the Fediverse like threads is doing, then you have access to everything.

So what exactly is your point? That we should just give up that corporations own everything, period, sorry, bud?

If that's the case, go back to Reddit and sign up for threads.
