You don't know where the dog lives. Maybe they're in Japan, which would have been Thursday there when this was posted.

It's Thursday, and has been for nearly 12 hours now where I live, and for nearly 14 hours now somewhere in the world. Given the post does not say where it's Wednesday, it is correct, and always has been.
