Even if it's a re-run, it's a dick move to give away the ending to any movie while in line to see it.

[-] EinfachUnersetzlich@lemm.ee 127 points 2 years ago

It's a very well known historical story though.

Thank you. Excellent observation It is, in fact, the very fact that makes the comment you are responding to funny.

I wonder what hobbies this Julius Caesar guy gets into when he retires?

[-] KSPAtlas@sopuli.xyz 6 points 2 years ago

He gets really good at playing dead, even has fake knife wounds

[-] oce@jlai.lu 14 points 2 years ago

Omg don't spoil I haven't watched that movie yet. I didn't even know their was a first one.

[-] agent_flounder@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

I hear that if they ever do a 3rd movie it is going to burst on the scene and really explode from there.

That would be like, being in line for a film about Helen Keller and mentioning she is blind and deaf. Like. Yeah. She is. You should know that, regardless of the film.

She is one of the biggest community volunteers to the Lemmy code repo.

[-] 14th_cylon@lemm.ee 9 points 2 years ago

[-] cygnus@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 years ago

I thought she was a mod on Twitter. They never see anything wrong with any posts I report.

That's like watching a World War 2 movie and "spoiling" the fact that Germany lost.

[-] c0mbatbag3l@lemmy.world 18 points 2 years ago

If you don't know the story of the Titanic idk what to tell you.

[-] DrQuint@lemm.ee 6 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Truth be told, I started watching Once Upon a Time In Hollywood having zero context of what the hell the story is meant to actually be about until half way when someone told me, and it vastly improved the movie.

Like, the woman just looked like a useless character you know. And would keep looking so.
