What we need is more apartments near shops, schools, parks, and public transport. These sort of developments are good.

Price is a separate issue IMO as all property is unaffordable now regardless of where and what type.

Every time someone moves into an apartment that "no one can afford" it frees up another place that someone can afford.

More supply is always a good thing. It already feels like Reddit here, with people complaining about every new development!
